MSC In Memory Projects are a very special way of paying tribute to a deceased loved one, allowing for a donation to be made to our ongoing mission projects in honour of a friend, family member, or loved one who has passed away.
Please accept our sincere condolences if you have recently lost someone close to you. Coping with the loss of a loved one is a very personal matter, and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart are very grateful to you for considering us at this sad and difficult time.
Where will my donation go?
Your donation in memory of a loved one is a kind and generous gesture that will help to support MSC missionaries as they work to spread the message of God’s love around the world. Every year, our MSCs endeavour to provide necessities such as food, clothing, housing, medical care, educational facilities, and religious support to thousands of people across the globe. Your donation in memory of a friend or family member allows us to give life to vulnerable families living in areas of profound poverty – in short, your generosity enables us to make a real difference in honour of your loved one.

How can I make a donation in memory of a loved one?

Can I make an online donation in memoriam?
You are welcome to make a donation dedicated to the memory of a loved one by clicking here and choosing our Memorial Donation. You can then light a candle or send us a prayer request in your loved one’s name, and our MSC priests will remember them in their daily Masses and prayers.
How do I go about requesting charity donations in lieu of flowers?
People often choose to request that mourners make donations to their chosen charity instead of spending money on flowers at a funeral or memorial service. If you decide that you would like people to donate to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in honour of your loved one, you can include the following wording in their death notice:
