MSC SUMMER APPEAL 2026
This year, we’re supporting families in need all over the world, from life-saving medical care in South Sudan, to sustainable living in the Philippines, to educating children in Brazil.
Our MSCs are working to help to transform the future of our planet and our people, harnessing the power of education, medicine, and sustainable living to safeguard future generations. If you can, please help us to help others this summer.
See below to find out more about our 2026 Summer Appeal projects:

Protecting our people and our planet for the good of all.
Dear Mission friends,
The wheel of the year is turning once more, and the summer months are here again. Many of us have been helping younger friends and family members through exam stress and worries, while others are busy caring for and entertaining young children through long summer days. There is a special kind of slower magic about the longer days of summer, and I wish you every blessing as you enjoy the beautiful sunrises and brighter evenings of these short months.
During this time, you might please spare a thought for our MSCs and the communities they continue to serve around the world, day in and day out, come rain or shine. This summer, we’re supporting three ongoing projects – one is caring for vulnerable young children in Brazil, another is helping farmers in the Philippines to sustain life through soaring temperatures, and the final appeal is for a hospital in rural South Sudan, where a tremendous team of people are doing extraordinary work, saving lives in the most difficult of circumstances.
As always, our work is only possible thanks to your support, and we give thanks for your kindness and generosity each and every day. May God bless you for your compassion always.
With every blessing of the Sacred Heart,
Fr John
