This summer, we’re raising funds to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities with the education and tools they need to be empowered in a more sustainable, self-sufficient future.
In South Sudan, we are working to support young women in their studies. In a country where young girls are reportedly three times more likely to die in childbirth than complete their secondary school education, we’re helping to provide a safe space for learning, where young women can bring their babies with them as they work towards a better future for themselves and for their children.
In the Philippines, our MSCs are working with local farmers and communities to promote sustainable growth, and the application of new and useful skills that care for our common home while providing a reliable and enduring livelihood for people with very little.
Our MSCs are working to educate people with practical skills that will allow them to provide for themselves, and for future generations. If you can, please help us to promote hope, dignity, and respect in areas of real need.

Dear mission friends,
Summer days are here again, and while we might despair of the Irish weather, we spare a thought for our MSCs and the communities they serve on our missions around the world. Whether they are travelling miles for water in the blistering heat, or helping to rebuild homes that have been destroyed by violent storms, together we are changing lives for the better every day – all thanks to your help.
This summer, we’d like to tell you more about two of our ongoing projects, as we work to support families in South Sudan and the Philippines, opening up pathways for education in challenging circumstances. By providing people with useful skills, we’re empowering them to help themselves, their communities, and future generations. We can only do this with the help of our mission friends here at home, and we give thanks daily for your kindness. May God bless you always.
